Carrie Schroeder is best known as Dr.Mom on Nickelodeon's hit show 'I Am Frankie.' now Streaming on Paramount+. She can also be seen starring alongside Eric Roberts in the sequel of the Lifetime Movie series “Stalked by my Doctor.” Carrie was nominated for ‘Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy’ at the 2020 Indie Series Awards for her work on the series “F#cking 40.” Also a stage actor, her portrayal of ‘Margot Wendice’ in “Dial M for Murder” earned her a BroadwayWorld nomination for Best Actress.
Carrie Schroeder was born and raised in the small country town of Shepparton in Victoria, Australia and attended Charles Sturt University in NSW Victoria, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Acting for the Stage and Screen. After graduating, she played ‘Eva’ in the Sydney production and subsequent Australian tour “And Then They Came For Me” and toured Singapore in “Once Upon a Fairytale Christmas.” In 2004, she made her film debut in “Jessica” and has appeared on Australian television in “Neighbours,” “Offspring” and “H2O, Just Add Water.”
Carrie moved to Los Angeles in 2012 and continues to keep busy in film and television across the U.S. In addition to her acting career, Carrie is also an accomplished mezzo-soprano. She first sang with Jason Alexander and the Boston Pops at Symphony Hall in 2013, and continues to enjoy many more symphony engagements with Jason.
